“BlackBerry will make Android devices’ – NU.nl

That reveal four anonymous sources across from Reuters .

Currently, BlackBerry still make handsets with their own system BlackBerry 10. This software was introduced in early 2013, but has not ensured greater market share. Blackberry currently has about 1 percent of the smartphone market.

To change that the company would now want to switch to Android, the operating system from Google that has been used by, among others Samsung, Sony, LG and Huawei. It is not clear if Blackberry 10 thereby completely said goodbye.
