BlackBerry today announced that it will sell the BlackBerry Priv Android smartphone with physical keyboard in three countries. Netherlands, Italy and Spain. Previously, the unit was already available in the United States and the United Kingdom. The device costs 779 euros in the Dutch shop BlackBerry.
The BlackBerry Priv is the first Android smartphone from the Canadian manufacturer. Unlike many other Android smartphones BlackBerry has done everything to make it as safe as possible this unit. As BlackBerry has been its enterprise services is also available on this Android device. The Canadian manufacturer seems slow to make the transition to Android now has become clear that the own BlackBerry OS will not make it.
The success of this Android smartphone is not huge so far, but in 2016 are more to BlackBerry Android smartphones. The BlackBerry device starts now make widely available in more countries, including, in the Netherlands, where BlackBerry was once very large. The BlackBerry Priv is a high-end handset with a 5.4 inch screen with a qHD screen resolution. Was chosen on the inside for a Snapdragon 808 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage capacity.
