Language Lovers with Android phones the treasury of Dutch can now carry with them everywhere. The dictionary 15 for Android is now available for download. The iOS version has already been launched. The appearance of the app ties in with the design of the books. The app has a sleek and simple design and a wide range of input and search capabilities. The entire contents of the Van Dale is searchable down to the smallest detail.
The dictionary was already well stocked, but now has 18,000 new keywords, thousands of new meanings, example sentences, phrases and quotes – all in the official spelling . With 500 hard to explain words are enlightening line drawings added.
Other possibilities within the app – like playing a game, work out words and be surprised every day with another word – are extras that the Van Dale make a daily to consult app for language lovers.
