The sales of smart watches has decreased for the first time. In the second quarter of 2016, no fewer than 32 percent sold fewer smart watches than the same quarter in 2015, according to figures from the International Data Corporation. While smartwatch vendors in the second quarter of 2015 but have sold no less than 5.1 million smart watches, there were only 3.5 million in 2016. Yet this is not to the various Android smart watches. The decline is complete at Apple.

Although Apple sold 1.6 million Apple Watches with still at the top sitting there in the second quarter of 2016 as much as 55 percent, Apple sold fewer watches than last year. “Consumers are buying deducted a smartwatch early 2016 in anticipation of a hardware refresh, while improvements in watchOS are only expected later this year,” said Jitesh Ubrani IDC.

Meanwhile, it goes on the Android Market more than good. Thus, sales of smart watches at Samsung increased by 51 percent in one year, Lenovo is a whopping 75 percent ahead, LG does not unkind with an increase of 26 percent and knows Garmin to rise by 25 percent. This allows Android has almost Apple. Namely Apple had 72 percent of the smart watch market in the second quarter of 2015 hands, but that was only 47 percent in 2016.

When Apple introduced the second version of Apple Watch, the company will undoubtedly take a greater share of the smart watch market. However, Google lets leave it at here. Google would indeed be working on two own Android Wear smart watches. How that will look like as possible can be seen here. Android Wear watch can also be used on the iPhone. “Further development of platforms, mobile connectivity and more apps suggest a smartwatch market which is constantly changing,” says Ramon T. Llamas, IDC. “This will appeal to a wider market, leading to a growing market.”
