Google has this week Hangouts 11.0 released for both Android and iOS. new features are presented for both versions. So people on iOS can throw at last members of the group where this is needed.
Google has provided the Hangouts app on Android and iOS, an update, each so gets its own functions. Hangouts 11.0 introduces throw on iOS the possibility of people from a group if that turns out to be necessary. That anyone can do; therefore you do not have to be the moderator of the group. Additionally gif image should now work better and you can add more video files (up to two minutes). The Android version also gets to it first by sending videos, which feature is in fact just been added.
Unfortunately, it is true that the videos you want to watch through Hangouts 11.0, open in a another application. There is no in-app video player. The latest version of Hangouts is not yet in Google Play, but you do find at APK Mirror. Be careful, because the Android version also lacks a feature: the ability to merge conversations with the same people (SMS and other messages). Google indicates that the function was confusing and not many people would use it. However, you can still just texting.
