Microsoft today rolled out an update to the Android and iOS versions of Groove music streaming service, which adds a number of features. Users of this app complain sometimes about the lack of updates for these versions of the application.
Lately, Microsoft has been working pretty hard on Groove in Windows 10, but many users on the other two platforms complained that their version is not nearly as often updates are provided. Today this will change as a Microsoft update has rolled out to Android and iOS version of the music streaming service, which adds a number of features. This is version 3.6.60707 3.6.60708 version for Android and iOS, which adds the following new features.
- Playback is improved considerably and faster
- You can now find out more about the artists and their songs
- download albums for offline play is now faster. You still need the app in the foreground have to be open; downloads in the background appear in a later update
- Support for large screen resolutions (for large smartphones like phablets)
- New options for sorting your music
- Log is now much faster than before
in addition, Microsoft announced that Groove frequently and provides faster updates in the future.
