The Huawei P8 Lite (2017) is a redesigned variant of one of the most popular midrange smartphones of the past few years. The 2017 variant features updated software and a slightly more powerful hardware.
Huawei P8 Lite (2017) officially
The Huawei P8 Lite (2017) is from 1 February for sale in the Netherlands, with a suggested retail price of 249 euros. The device comes in three different colors: black, white and gold. This is one of the cheapest smartphones that Huawei offers at the moment.
The smartphone has a quite remarkable name. The original Huawei P8 Lite appeared in 2015 and was last year followed by the P9 Lite. This new model also has completely different hardware, and also shows in the appearance of little similarities with the previous model. Supposedly, the name has to do with the success of the original P8 Lite. That unit was one of the most popular smartphones of 2015.
The design looks much like the Honor 8, the current flagship of Huawei’s subsidiary. The P8 Lite (2017) has a metal body with a prominent finger print scanner on the back. The screen has a upgrade received with respect to the original P8 Lite. The 5-inch screen with 720p resolution is replaced by a 5.2-inch screen with a full hd resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels.
