I have Open Beta 8, 9 and 10 rotated (the public beta’s of nougat on the “OP3″) and I’m afraid that this “stable version” too early released.
Since in any case, OB9, there are problems with the radio/modem firmware, where there is a bug is in the standby mode of the modem (bug-thread: https://forums.oneplus.ne…-wakelocks-reopen.479573/).
In that thread you can see how, starting in OB9, the OnePlus 3 on nougat on some devices, it is an incredible amount of energy is lost to its modem and the wakelock to which it is associated. The wakelock message that is used both in OB9 as OB 10: Abort:Some devices failed to suspend, or early wake event detected. The combination of the wakelock and modem/radio firmware bug causes my OnePlus 3 on some days, after 10 min SOT and 20% battery charge had lost (well, read more in the thread).
Although we just after the message a little bit of communication from OnePlus have been, is there now from Oneplus not further communicated about whether this “stable” version of OOS 4.0 or not about this hardware bug. But because they have nothing back have been announced, I am assuming that that is not the case.
ALSO had both OB9 as OB10 burden of echo during calls. Although you, as a oneplus user, these echoes are not heard, hear the person on the other end of the line. Where the echo still be around 5-8 seconds at issue, after which it about 30 seconds and disappeared. To then return to the (bug-thread: https://forums.oneplus.ne…during-most-calls.481514/).
Typo: edit.
