The most recent statistics show that Google Android Jelly Bean, version 4.1 and 4.2, is installed, Ice Cream Sandwich, version 4.0. more active Android devices However, the statistics also show that Android Gingerbread, version 2.3, still by far the most widely used Android version. 
If we put the numbers in a row, we see that Android Jelly Bean, has a share of 28 , 4 percent. The latest Jellybean version, 4.2, has only just 2.3 percent in the hands, but that will probably change quickly now that the Galaxy S4 in sales is gone (review).
Android Ice Cream Sandwich is active at 27.5 percent of all Android devices. The biggest share is Android Gingerbread which has a market share of 38.5 percent. For Google, it is especially important that this number will decrease. Finally, there is a fragmentation of 5.6 percent on Android versions that are really outdated. These are probably users with outdated equipment, which have not yet gone to buy a new device on. Google makes each year increments by updates bringing with Android Android operating system making it safer, faster and better. However, the manufacturers have clearly struggling to keep Google and bring their devices. Updates on time This is also one of the reasons that this fragmentation is formed. It is said that Google’s latest Android version have been postponed to give more time to their existing devices to update to Jelly Bean and the fragmentation is not increased. Manufacturers
