This is evident from information that The Next Web has ever had. The navigation bar appears largely that of the current iOS app from Gmail and display labels through various categories that are rolled out.

Google will not comment on the news. By several recent leaks, it seems likely that the above screenshots show new Gmail for Android. Possibly update the Gmail app soon rolled out to Android devices.
