Toshiba AT503 with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean shows up in benchmarks - Tablets Magazine

We have spent the last several weeks rumors and even images a new Toshiba tablet which would feature a Tegra 4 processor pass by. This model would go under the name AT10 or AT502. In benchmark results we have references to a new model found today, possibly a mid 10 inch tablet.

Toshiba AT503

website gfxbench is a tablet surfaced with the name Toshiba AT503 this week. Although we previously coupled this model number (and variants thereof) to the new model with Tegra 4 processor and full HD display seems based on the benchmark results for a midrange model to go. Namely that we can get the AT503 features an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz and a LCD display with a resolution of 1,280 by 800 pixels from the results. These are specifications that were interesting especially last year and are now used for middle class models, such as the ASUS MeMO Pad Smart . However, the Toshiba AT503 also runs on the latest Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, according to the data gfxbench.

This is not the first time that we AT503 pass by. In early March appeared this model number, along with include the AT10 and AT15, on the website of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group. These tablets may therefore have been received.

Toshiba last year already two tablets on the market that have similar specifications but run on an earlier version of Android. The AT300 was the first 10.1 inch model that ran on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. When Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was introduced, replacing the AT300 for AT300SE . This model had almost the same specs with only a new version of Android.

Computex 2013

At present we do not know the exact lineup and exact specifications but the expectation is that the Toshiba tablet launching in June during Computex 2013.
