Android version of Opera is out of beta and officially released - Planet Android

The Android version of Opera web browser has left the beta status and first official version was released Tuesday on Google Play. The mobile version of Opera is just like the stock Android browser and Chrome use WebKit layout engine.

The beta version of the Opera ended in March on Google Play, after extensive announcement at the Mobile World Congress. The biggest addition of Opera over other browsers is called Discovery function.
