Android 4.1.2 update on the way?
Most recently launched Android devices, including the Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S IV and HTC One feature already present on Android 4.1.2 or Android 4.2.2, both known as Jelly Bean.
The Sony Xperia S, which has come on the market in early 2012 has currently still on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Today a number of sources report that the Android 4.1.2 update is headed for the Sony Xperia S. While these sources suggest that the update one of the days will come on the device, says the official Twitter account of Sony Xperia Germany about a launch in the course of this quarter.
Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean)
Android 4.1.2 includes a number of bug fixes and stability compared to Android 4.0 where the Sony Xperia S currently has on the decision. Sony joins Android 4.1 include the Battery STAMINA mode to which the battery should go last longer. There is also found a better way to organize applications and adds more personalization options. In addition, also the standard features of Android 4.1 as Google Now added.
The final rollout of Android 4.1.2 for the Sony Xperia S will most likely start in the coming weeks / months. Whether the update will be for the owners of a Sony Xperia S also readily available in the Netherlands is not known to us.
