During a session at Google I / O are shown screenshots of a new design for the Android version of Gmail. The bottom bar with buttons herein is removed and there is a retractable navigation added.
In the current version of the Gmail app you get a limited menu if you click the Inbox button, which you go to windows like all labels can. The new design is everything would hide behind all the labels menu already in the navigation bar itself.
