In the wake of the Apple FBI backdoor story you might wonder if Android users know about the security of your device. There are all kinds of malware scanners available for your device, but that does not always seem to be equally good and hunt you unnecessary expense

in this article we will not go into all malware scanners, but we tend to look at tools that affect all major aspects of data security. Some of these tools are 3rd-party apps while others are standard in finding your device. They all make that your personal data is protected in a good way in any case. You would not expect it with all those virus and malware scanners for Android, but Google has its own malware scanner on board since 2012. This scanner checks not only whether its your apps clean, the system can continuously scan your device to see if in time not yet infected apps found on your device.

All you need to do is to Google go section of your system settings (or open the app called Google settings if you have an older device). Select the Security and check the Device scan for security threats if it is not already checked, and that was it. Your device and its software do the rest.

It is useful to know that this system works in conjunction with a server -side system all the apps in the Google Play store scans before they are installed on your device.
