According to Apple CEO Tim Cook’s Apple Music just the first of several apps that will bring the company to Android. There, however, we are not waiting.
That Apple Music got its own app for Android was a surprise. Not only was this the first time that Apple made a comprehensive app for the Android platform, but for the first time, the doors of the iTunes music library open to Android users. Apple Music is probably not the only Apple app comes to Android, so let Tim Cook hinted last week.
What apps are just released for Android is not yet known, but the chances are that it mainly Apple services will be. it is important that it works on many different platforms, so as to maximize their people can use and not be hindered if they ever switch to another type of device for a music service like Apple Music. For services like iCloud, it is also important that Apple and more consumers are able to bind.
The more users are attracted to the company’s ecosystem, the greater the chance that their next phone is an iPhone . The only other Android app from Apple is therefore now Move to iOS, which allows your photos, messages, contacts and more can transfer from Android to iOS.

More competition almost always is positive for the consumer. Apple apps on the Google platform creates tension. The companies keep each other sharp and will make faster improvements where users again have benefit.
Look, we purely for the individual apps for Apple iOS and how they can add value to Android, then does it really for us not. Apple’s default apps are not always the best option on iOS, let alone have a chance against the many options you have on Android. Or to keep it honest: the options that Google offers standard
Apple apps
Why would you want to use iWork for example instead of Google Docs.? iWorks offers for designers, perhaps a tad more opportunities to documents to make nice, but sharing in the field of documents and real-time collaboration Docs is much stronger. Why would you use Apple Maps over Google Maps? Although Apple Maps since the dramatic start of the app is greatly improved, Apple Maps is still able to be known not very accurate and not be able to find spots.
And what benefits Siri offers up Google Now ? Obviously Apple wants to know what actions we take on our smartphones and where we want to search, but Google Now is when digital assistant simply more extensive and smarter. Moreover, Google Now is so intertwined with Android, that Siri will be difficult to provide the same features
And we have not even agree on the Mail app and Podcasts app, where very little functionality is offered. At present, Android has no standard podcast app, but we have nothing more than Apple’s Podcasts. Apple’s Mail app Gmail Inbox or compare feels not even fair.
What apps do you?
Of course, Apple also makes apps that we can have something to. iBooks for example, could work well. Not so much because it adds a lot in terms of functionality, but as users get more choice for e-books on their device. This allows you to basically all the books, for example, Google Play Books, Kindle and iBooks get on one device to give you the best price. For students and teachers iTunes U, which can be followed lectures, an interesting app.
Most of all we would like to have GarageBand on Android. Android has many alternatives to replace GarageBand, but this app remains unbeatable when it comes to producing music. That is precisely why we can hardly imagine that GarageBand comes to Android, but you never know. For the rest? Just stay on iOS.
Are you sitting waiting for Apple apps on Android. Let us know in the comments why (not).
