“Google plans to delete application list from Android” – Techzine

According to the latest rumors, Google would consider deleting the application list from Android. That would mean that Android devices now only get home screens where all apps on it. Huawei uses this method for years and LG get there with its new software on.

According to the rumors would not be satisfied with Google itself on the application list. It is also an additional operation to be carried users to find an app. If Google actually decides to delete the application list, then it will happen in the next major version of Android. That will be Android N and the first beta version will probably just before the summer. The final version then appears only at the end of the year.

Google itself has not yet commented on the rumors, so it is difficult to estimate whether the rumors are true. The next version of Android is expected to be drawn wider, Google will make Android more suitable for automotive and virtual reality.
