10 things that Android should steal from the Pixel – Computerworld

Google has said goodbye to the Nexus and is with the Pixel on a different path. This high-end smartphone running on Android, but has a few (software)-extras not found in other versions of Android. We view these features, and hope these find their way into the normal version of Android so that other manufacturers these features can implement in their devices.

The omission of the app drawer was something that at the beginning of this year, was seen as something that really could not. Now, it seems as if there are some milder face to look. The drawer is of course not really gone, there is no dedicated button for them. Pixel users should be up swiping to the App drawer to open it and leave it out of the App drawer button again makes place for an additional shortcut.
