Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will get Android 7.0 Nougat beta – TechTastic

Samsung has, to date, no single smartphone updated to Android 7.0 Nougat, however, it seems the South Korean company in the short-term change. The company will soon namely a beta version of Android 7.0 Nougat offer for the Galaxy S7 Edge.

to register for the Galaxy S7 Edge beta, you’ll need the Galaxy Beta app from the Galaxy App Store to download. If you have the app you cannot find, you can also download the installation file. Currently, the beta program has not started, your S7 Edge (still) can’t register.

The good news is that the development of the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 Edge is now so far advanced that a beta can be released. The regular Galaxy S7 will eventually be updated, however, is the beta still only confirmed for the S7 Edge.

Samsung points out that the beta in the coming period will be released is not the official version, which is Galaxy S7 Edge-owners have to take into account the presence of the bugs. Also, would this build still not have all the features of the final version. The company hopes the functionality and stability of the update to improve with the feedback of its users.

New features

Android 7.0 Nougat brings, by default, in each case, a number of welcome improvements, including a long anticipated splitscreenmodus, in which you place two apps next to or above each other can view.
