Firefox 50 released for PC and Android phones – XGN.nl

The web browser Firefox has a new update. Firefox 50 is download now for PC, Mac and Android.

The updated browser from Mozilla would be released on november 8th, but was delayed after a developer an error in the software discovered. Add-ons in the browser sometimes had a boot time of more than four seconds, and created instability within Firefox.

That problem has since been resolved and the improvement makes for a better startup time of the browser. In addition, it contains Firefox 50 downloadbescherming for executable files for both Windows, Mac and Linux, there are a number of new keyboard shortcuts added and the browser is a built-in set for emoji’s. The entire list can be found on the site of Firefox.

The update for Android is something less extensive. This will get any support for HLS videos and has an improved interface by the history and recent tabladen together. The update for computers is already available for download via the site from Firefox itself and the update for Android will be available during the day. A new iOS update is still nothing known.
