Omate has a new product was announced called the Yumi. It is a ‘familierobot’ with an AI developed from Amazon Alexa, and powered by the Android operating system. Everyone the robot can then also be things to do via voice commands
Yumi can be connected to the home network. As you can the robot is an Uber-taxi called, a song to play, or ask what the weather is. Because it is an Android robot, it can do everything an Android device can, within the limits of its interface. The robot has a 5-inch 720p hd touchscreen and an Ultra-pixel front camera. There can be videos played on the TV via an HDMI cable, or there may be games to be played.
The Omate Yumi is not yet for sale. On 15 november there will be on Indiegogo, a crowdfunding appear. The robot will be on sale for 369 to 399 dollars. When Yumi appears on the market in the third quarter of next year, he will be 599 dollars.
