Samsung start developing Android 7.0 Nougat for Galaxy S6 … – DroidApp (Blog)

For the owners of Samsung Galaxy S6 (Edge), there is good news. Samsung has started with the development version of Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Last week began with the Korean manufacturer with a beta-program of Nougat with Grace UX for the Galaxy S7. However, it is not expected that the update later this year will appear, not for S7.

The development version of Nougat for the S6 (Edge) has the version number XXS5DPK7 inherited. It may just take a few months before the final version of Nougat for the Galaxy S6 series is ready. It is expected that in 2017 the update is available for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. It is unlikely that the S6 earlier, the update will then get the S7. It is in question or the S7 (Edge) this year the final version. The beta test will run until at least mid-december.
