For this study, of 4,000 Android users from France, Germany, Italy and Spain were surveyed. In addition, it appears that only 10 percent of the users the apps, as let alone and that the rest of their homescreen customizing. Thereof to move 74 percent of a pre-installed app from the homescreen to a different place. Also use Android owners often have multiple apps in the same category. advance geïinstalled apps

The observant reader know that this study is very well suited to the current battle between Google and the European Commission. The EU is not happy with how Google would require manufacturers to advance a series of Google apps to install. In a response to the complaint, Google: "On Android, the Google-apps are normally only a third of the pre-installed apps. Consumers can our apps wegswipen whenever they want. Unique is also that hardwaremakers and providers competing apps next install."

The timing, the positive result and the dubious role of Google at the set-up makes this a questionable research. Certainly, the wording of the question about the pre-installed apps do alarm bells go off. The Android users were asked: "If you have an Android device, would buy, or would you prefer to have it with the base apps so that the right out of the box (such as an iPhone)?" The question sends the participant clearly in a particular direction.
