10 years of YouTube: the best Android area – Android Planet

Today it is exactly ten years ago that YouTube was launched. The video site is since the end of 2006 part of Google and per minute is up to 5 hours uploaded new video.

Although the YouTube domain on February 14 2005 was recorded, it was not until April 23 of that year before actually a video was posted on the site. The movie, called “Me at the zoo” show co-founder Jawed Kareem YouTube in a zoo.

The video lasts only 18 seconds, but is more than nine years, more than 17 million views . That’s a lot, but significantly less than Gangnam Style Psy, whose numerator now stands at 2.2 billion.
