Android Lollipop 1.6 percent of Android devices – NU.nl

According to figures that released Google. In December Lollipop appeared not at all in the numbers, because less than 0.1 percent of all Android users had access to the new system.

Lollipop is still on a very limited number of devices available . Among other owners of the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 and Nexus devices can use the system.

Jellybean (versions 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 of Android) continues with 44.5 percent of all devices the most popular Android version, followed by Kitkat (version 4.4) to 39.7 percent of all devices

.

The growth of Kitkat declined in January, while in December a big leap was made.

Android Froyo and Gingerbread (versions 2.2 and 2.3) are still accounted for a total of 7.8 percent of all Android devices. The outdated versions are increasingly in use but have not yet disappeared from the figures because it is often impossible to update these older Android devices to newer software.
