Firefox OS as installing ‘launcher on Android – Android World

The Developer Preview of Firefox OS 2.5 is packaged as .apk file, so install it falls on many Android devices. Thus you can already Mozilla OS partially experienced, because the experience is offered in between a launcher and completely OS.

The smartphone world consists not only from Android and iOS, even though they are the largest players in the market. For example, there are Windows Phone, but there’s Firefox OS Mozilla. Developers of the OS now have to download a separate installer put online, making your Firefox OS: 2.5 can experience on an Android device.

The file in question is approximately 90MB in size and can be downloaded via this website. The software pretends to be a somewhat launcher, which makes it possible to run on Android, but offers much more.
