An improved version is now available for all customers. The condition is that their Android smartphone is equipped with an NFC chip. According to ING, 65 percent of all Dutch Android phones fit. On iPhones, the app is not available.
The first six months contactless payments with your smartphone for free. ING will then 50 cents per month charge.
Payments work exactly as with a contactless debit card. Customers can choose to settle amounts to 25 euros without a PIN, so it faster.
Those who are younger than 18, the app may not use. The Mobile Pay app is available in Google Play
