The screen size of most smartphones seems to have stabilized around 5 inches, but larger aircraft continue to do well.
With a screen of 5.7 inch Nexus 6P is quite a bit bigger then the Nexus 5X, which our review recently published
See the Nexus 6P in our video review:
The 6P is not only bigger, but also better and with better specifications. The 5X has a plastic housing and therefore looks quite anonymous, but the 6P has a striking appearance from one piece of metal.
On the back is still a glass bar containing the camera and flash. There is a small bulge here, but the use is not disruptive. In appearance knows the Nexus 6P to compete with other high-end phones in the past year

The same applies to the specifications. The 6P has an excellent AMOLED display with qHD high resolution. This ensures excellent black levels and sharp images. The colors are a bit oversaturated, but this is barely noticeable.
The Nexus 6P uses a Snapdragon 810, currently the best model of chip maker Qualcomm. Combined with 3 GB RAM performance is always fluent in both ‘normal’ apps as demanding games

Perhaps even more important than the speed of the device is the number of hours that he knows to keep it on an average day. With a huge battery of 3450 mAh, the Nexus 6P in this area fortunately did not disappoint.
The unit takes one day at least 3 hours of screen time. Also on some days that I was on a techbeurs, and more or less constantly emailing, googling and was twittering, the 6P kept it out all day. That had managed little other smartphones.
With the included USB plug, the c-6P can also quickly become fully charged. With a fifteen minute charge will get you back quite a few hours of use.
Software
For many buyers of Nexus devices, the software is probably the main reason for choosing the device. The 6P runs directly on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), and will also get upgrades directly in the future to new versions of Android.
This is a significant advantage, both in terms of functionality and security. In Android 6.0, many leaks from earlier Android versions repaired, and also sit nice new features.
You will get more precise control over the data that may inspect Android apps, also activate the voice control of Android when the display is off and more insight into the working memory usage of apps.
Additionally, fingerprint scanners are supported by default in Android 6.0. Luckily the Nexus 6P also has a very good scanner directly to the back of the unit that recognizes fingers very quickly. Also third-party applications can easily support in Android use the finger as an authentication method. This is partly in the password manager LastPass very convenient.
Camera
The Nexus 6P has the same camera as the Nexus 5X, an excellent 12-megapixel model with laser autofocus and dual LED flash. The pictures are really good in all situations, even in difficult lighting conditions

However, there was a comprehensive camera app been welcome. Now you’ve really only a shutter button, and the ability for example to turn on the flash and HDR mode. For more detailed settings such as white balance and shutter speed, the Nexus 6P buyers should turn to third-party camera apps.
The Nexus 6P comes with 32 GB of storage. That will be enough for most people, but it is a pity that no microSD card is in the device there

Conclusion
The Nexus 6P is without doubt one of the best smartphones currently on the market. Not everyone will have the enormous size are fine, but people with big hands have actually no further.
With a price of 649 euros the unit is not cheap, but since the device has no major drawbacks is the price understandable. Especially for fans of the bare version of Android is the Nexus 6P a very attractive phone
