Today TomTom has released an app for Android that warns if there are speed cameras on the road where you ride .
The new app notifies users of fixed and mobile speed cameras and allows you even aware of process controls. You only get a warning when a flash is there on the road where you ride at that time. The app keeps running in the background, even when you’re using other apps.
You can manually add flash to the database from TomTom, which then are subsequently verified by TomTom moderators. In TomTom mobile navigation app Go Mobile is already, this function but the flash detector can also be used as a separate app.
As of today, the app is free to download in the Google Play store.
