First CyanogenMod 13 (Android 6.0) nightlies available – Androidworld

The first nightly builds based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow been made available by the team CyanogenMod. The software does not always work as stable, but there is obviously working on it. Currently, to install the software on seven devices, but will soon be expanded to more devices.

Cyanogen is the developer of the best-known custom ROMs for Android and is available in two variants. You have CyanogenMod namely, software and OS Cyanogen ROMs. That first you flash itself, meanwhile for many devices, and the OS version standard are included on a few devices and also just some more applications.



Android 6.0 nightlies

CyanogenMod also often called nightlies released there, ROM updates that are offered every night and may contain new features, but are not always stable. Now it has announced the development of this software, the first nightly builds CyanogenMod 13 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, are available. The first batch is to use only seven smartphones, but obviously the company is working on even more support. Thus, the software is currently available for, among other OnePlus One, Nexus 7, LG G4 and the Moto X 2014.

Thus, it is stated that if you are on a stable CM12 version runs it may not be worthwhile to flash this nightly-build, because the performance than a piece can be less. If you’re already running at 12.1 nightly variant then it is recommended to include third-party add-ons to flash immediately after installing the new CM13-build, if you have carried out a ‘dirty flash. If you already CM13 builds running in another way, also it is recommended to wipe completely empty the unit, so as to avoid any problems with this software builds
