BlackBerry brings Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Priv out – Android World

BlackBerry had earlier announced that the update to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow would come in May and now has let the company know that update is off and on May 3 will be available to everyone.

BlackBerry seems well in fulfilling his promises. Not only know the manufacturer to be faster than Google in the rollout of the monthly security updates, as well as the Marshmallow update coming for the BlackBerry Priv as promised in May from. According to the company will roll out the update on May 3.

The update is made the standard enhancements of Android 6.0. The Priv thus get a longer standby time with Priv and enhanced permissions system. Also, it becomes possible to use the SD card as part of the memory. Read more about here.

BlackBerry itself also adds some of its own functions to it. Thus, improved notification system and the standard keyboard, there are more types of notifications for BlackBerry Hub and a slow motion option added to the camera. Availability

BlackBerry’s new aircraft immediately extradite get with Android 6.0 and other devices from May 3rd update to the latest Android version. Possibly this has to do with the May 3rd is the day that the monthly security update for Android is released
