Het mobile operating system Android 6.0, or “Marshmallow” as Google calls it, has not yet determined widespread. The Consumers’ Association says that the software meets only 16% of the devices tested in the Netherlands. According to the Association manufacturers need to quickly update their devices.
The new system, which was introduced in October last year, has just requested features in the area of privacy and use of apps, along with efficient battery usage. These changes are not very large, but were received by the tech world with open arms.
Better protection of personal data, one of key elements of Android 6.0, is a hot topic. According to the security company Security Marble represent 30% of all apps on the Google Play Store guilty of collecting and selling personal information.
HTC scores well
According to the Consumers’ scores in terms of updates HTC best. The least loyal to their client’s Acer, often run on versions below 5.0 whose phones. Sony is catching up with Android 6.0 – recently received three prominent phones from the company’s latest version of the software
