Nvidia is known as a maker of graphics chips. However, the company is also trying to win a spot in the market for game consoles. It does so with the Shield Android TV Box. In fact, a media streamer that can be connected to a TV, but with extra processing power for gaming. The games can come from the Google Play store, but also be streamed via Nvidia’s proprietary game platform Geforce Now. Everything is displayed in a 4k resolution. The calculation is provided by a Tegra X1 processor. By default, the Shield Android TV Box 16gb available for storage, but the Pro version you get 500 GB of disk space.
