Cortana brings notifications of Android phones to Windows 10 – Tweakers

For anyone who has worked with both OS and on a tablet is more than clear note. The thing to use as a laptop while counts in my opinion not count

Annoyance. 1: one of * the * reason to believe any Android tablet: the “start bar” at the bottom. I want to be able to use certain apps fullscreen without always something having to click away. What does MS: accurate, fine taskbar sliding everywhere mandatory under. Hide automatically, but then he does that suddenly do on my desktop. Grrr. And auto hide is not convenient, as I (UWP) Apps turn I want to do it full-screen, further just as old. They want something compelling that bring together two worlds

Annoyance. 2: the browser. No sweeping movements in the browser. No vanishing address. Well tabs. Tabs and address bar at the top. You already have so little space on a tablet, give me back my screen space as in W8

3 Annoyance: home screen W8 is a tablet very intuitive. When W10 has become a mess. Grouping is much less clear, you swipe to find down instead of to the right, all applications in a scrolling list is really much more clumsy than the summary as a home screen W8, etc.

Annoyance. 4: the sweeping movements from the sides of W10 W8 are implemented in, but result in a strange reaction. In W8 flows into a logical reaction. For example invegen from the left gave OR a previous active application OR a list of apps on the left. Now rotate the image suddenly a kind of overview middenop the screen. Wherein it is no longer possible, in my view to sweep an app downwards to close it. You can do that only with the cross.

And so I can still go on. Windows 8 was for the desktop not a smart move. Especially since MS Start menu wrecked out because it was noticed that they were activating which itself. In retrospect I see that they did it, but one has grossly misjudged the extent of touchscreens (none) would be commonplace. Did you leave the start menu and right created the opportunity to start standard OR desktop OR the new start screen, it was not flopped.

On my phone, I have long been W10M and at desktop I use it since the preview. I’m fine.

W8 was genius for touch, less good for the desktop. W10 is 100 percent vice versa. I have therefore my two tablets put back to W8.1. Too bad the one now was killed and replaced by a copy already stands where W10. I still go see if I’m secretly can return to W8!

Well, slightly offtopic regarding Cortana who works Android notifications and shows. Something that I quite teases.
