When Google last fall the demands it Android One handsets introduced relaxed it seemed that the potential of the initiative was not fully realized. Today, however, the news came out that the program correctly will be even more important.
Android One
Two years ago, Google Android One announced program, particularly aimed in poorer countries. The initiative is an inexpensive way for manufacturers to release smartphones based on standardized hardware, and thanks to the almost stock Android software, Google can provide quick updates. This will be solved in one fell swoop the two biggest problems of much cheaper smartphones in developing countries. Often there smartphones released with no well thought out hardware and software is rarely or not updated due to the small profit margins and many devices.

Android One therefore took a big step in the right direction, but unfortunately it seemed last fall is that the progression was negated by Google.
