I’m all but done with non-stock Andoid (such as Samsung). It is total nonsense you should (could) install a complete new Android version for eg. A Stage Fright leak. Why can eg. Debian or LTS (long term support) and Mozilla ESR versions maintained which are delivered exclusively male mimi security updates? Profit is this the only motive, not the interests of the clients.
In addition, Google will too much of us know. Even if the current Google management there has only good intentions it is that information collection (even parts of them) very much money – and that always attracts dung flies to (incorrect lancing employees, cybercriminals but changes things can at the top also put on its head see Nadella).
Microsoft is doing extremely its best to catch up with Google left and right on this point, and hastened to deny (after strong rumors) that Windows Phone is a house of mourning. The way they licensees of older Windows versions “telemetry” spyware and Windows 10 through the throat douwt on the criminal down. Unless it changes something very Redmond I do personally not a penny more from Microsoft products (professional situation is different of course, get the best tool for the job – under the right conditions).
I hate the vendor lock-in to Apple, but did everything whereas, last month still an iPhone SE bought for my girlfriend. Absolutely no regrets, great unit. In terms of security by default too open (such as messages displayed on the locked screen), but eea is fine configure secure.
My next smartphone, unless offering a new and better alternative, even an iPhone.
