Google now reveals that one in five owners of Android smartphone, running the latest version of the operating system: Android Lollipop. Android 4.4 (KitKat) can still be found on tight 40 percent of all handsets and is still the most popular

Android Lollipop users allow themselves to be divided into those 5.0 (15.9 percent), rotate and others who have already done the update to 5.1 (5.1 percent).
The rollout of lollipop was initially very slow, due to the fragmented market for Android devices. Many old models received the update to 5.0 will not and thus still stabbing at 4.4.
Most new Android smartphones, however, run out of the box on Android Lollipop, including the S6 from Samsung and LG of the G4. Thus Google’s latest operating system gets always more foothold
