This is the Nokia C1 smartphone with Android – TechTastic

Nokia has, as you may already know, make plans to go back to smartphones, but the Finnish company has to wait until 2016 until it can actually bring these products to market. During Microsoft’s takeover stipulates that the company name until 2016 should not be used on smartphones. End 2014 Nokia introduced all the Android-based Nokia N1 tablet, and since then, several insiders already indicated that it will also launch Android smartphones in 2016.

Just before the weekend appeared already renders a new Nokia smartphone with a stock version of Android with Nokia’s proprietary Z Launcher. The Nokia C1, as the device will probably be named, has also been spotted in the wild today, and here we can see that the leaked render is legitimate

In the pictures we see a what seems aluminum housing and a screen with virtually no bezels (edges around to the screen). The interface and navigation buttons at the bottom have clearly sees that the Nokia C1 runs on Android 5.x Lollipop. The design of the Nokia C1 is much like that of the N1 tablet, but of course in a compact housing and a smaller screen.

Nokia C1 The hardware would consist, according to the latest rumors of a fifth inch screen with a resolution unknown, presumably 720p or 1080p, an Intel Atom chipset with 2GB RAM, an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a five-megapixelfrontcam. This involves considering the specs for a mid-range device.

When the Nokia C1 can expect is still a mystery and it is also unclear to what continent appears the Android smart phone as the Nokia tablet too is not available everywhere. Possibly we can expect an announcement in the last months of 2015, while the launch will take place in 2016.
