It has been ten years since the great adventure Android Google began. Ten years ago the team started that would be responsible for the first releases of Android in Mountain View.

In October 2003, Android, Inc. was founded by Andy Rubin, among others. Rubin has for years played a key role in Android and was ultimately responsible for the mobile operating system. In 2013 he gave the baton to Sundar Pichai, who is now responsible for almost all products and services within Google. Since last year Rubin also no longer working at Google.

In July 2005, the original Android team at Google began after a silent takeover. The acquisition, which involved an amount of at least $ 50 million, caused a lot of speculation about a possible arrival of Google in the mobile market.

Bloomberg talks in August 2005 all the plans of Google and that we as mobile ‘next frontier’ may see in the field of search. The message is certainly true, the search traffic coming from mobile devices is greater than desktop search traffic.
