Like many other smartphone makers Sony also offers its own version of Android operating system on its devices. However, the company will soon begin a test around a new version, which is more like the ‘basic’ version of Android that is made available by Google
.

The test takes place among 500 users of Xperia Z3 from Sweden. They will be able to install and try out this new version of the system. It seems that the only difference between this and the real bare Android is that there is still preinstalled are some apps from Sony itself.
People who are interested but do not live in Sweden, will have to wait. Sony has announced that it will carry out further tests after this test with the software.
The whole test is part of a new approach to business, which it wants to listen better to the real experiences of users and wants to use this information to improve products.
