Microsoft has launched a beta version of the Android voice assistant Cortana. Actually, it was intended that the final version could come as early as June to Google Play. Now there is already a test version of the service
.
Cortana reminiscent of Google Now and Siri, the voice assistant of iOS. The application answers questions and shows relevant information on the location where the user is located. To use Cortana you do need an Outlook or Hotmail address.
The service works not as good as Google Now. Dutch is not yet supported. If Cortana not know the answer to a question, a list of possible alternatives appears to be possible to find the answer.
It is unclear when Cortana for Android will be officially launched.
