Picture of BlackBerry device with Android Play Store and drained – Techzine

There is a picture appeared online a new BlackBerry device with Android. It is a so-called press render. What is striking about the picture is that the Google Play store is present in the image. BlackBerry therefore working on an official Google certified Android device.

BlackBerry working on an Android device, maybe that choice is made for a few years too late, but the fact is that the company is busy with. The only question is whether there are users who would like a BlackBerry smartphone instead of eg a Samsung smartphone.

The rumors of a BlackBerry device with Android some time doing the rounds, the expectation was that BlackBerry would choose the open source version of Android containing the Amazon App Store rather than a Google certified device with the Google Play Store. However, this picture proves that BlackBerry choose a Google certified device.

The reason that makes BlackBerry an Android device could not be because it distances itself from its own BlackBerry OS, but because it wants to prove that an Android device can be made just as safe with BlackBerry Enterprise Services as a BlackBerry device. To what extent the kite goes on we will go during the presentation of the hearing device. It is known that Google collects a reasonable amount of information on the Android devices and then sends to its servers.

The BlackBerry device with Android, code-named Venice, the picture is no visible physical keyboard, here previously have talked about. Whether this keyboard is still hidden somewhere is unclear but it does not seem like it. Furthermore, the device would feature the Snapdragon 808 chip with six cores. The choice screen would have a size of 5.4 inches and a QHD display resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. When can we expect the device is unclear.
