HTC rolls from today an update to Android 5.1 for European users of the HTC One M9 out. The update brings with it a variety of changes.

HTC chief executive Graham Wheeler makes Twitter announced that the Android 5.1 update will be rolled out today the European version of HTC One M9. However, it may be that it takes several days before the update arrives at Dutch users. Android updates are normally made progressively available.
The Android 5.1 update for HTC One M9 brings various improvements and changes with it. For example, the Quick Settings panel is improved, the Contacts app gets a small update, and new animations and small tweaks made to the system volume. Whether and what other changes Android 5.1 brings even more, is still unknown

The HTC One M9 is available in the Netherlands since late March and runs on Android 5.0 out of the box (Lollipop). A few months ago it was known that the device gets an Android M-update, all let the update to wait for him. When Android M is made exactly available for One M9 users, is still unclear.
The HTC One M9 is the current flagship of HTC is primarily a hardware update of the One M8. The device has almost the same design, but internally there have been made some changes.
