“Android Pay in March for the first time outside USA available ‘- Android Planet

Android Pay will first be available outside the United States in March. Unfortunately not in the Netherlands or Belgium.

In late March Android Pay will finally be available for the first time outside the United States. The second location where people can use the payment service is the United Kingdom. This enables the Telegraph to have heard from various sources. It is not yet known when Android Pay also comes to the Netherlands and Belgium.

 Android Pay internationally

Android Pay works by the information from your credit card or to introduce debit cards in a smartphone with NFC chip. It can then be paid without contact in places that pay support contactless. Debit cards support this feature nowadays often. Android Pay create an account number for users, making your card details are not shared with the store.

Google is using Android Pay worldwide to compete with Apple and Samsung Pay Pay. Samsung’s payment service will launch this year in the UK. The UK is seen as a kind of battlefield for different payment services, because there are already many paid with cards and there are many places for contactless payment. This is also the case in the UK, so we have a good next location.

Google I / O

Google has unveiled at Google I / O 2015 Android Pay. The next edition of Google I / O in May and perhaps we get more information on a more global rollout of the service. We also expect at Google I / O include the official unveiling of Android N.
