Marshmallow Android 6.0 update now for all versions Galaxy S6 (Edge … – GSM Helpdesk Netherlands

After Samsung in the past weeks already released its Android 6.0 update for Marshmallow T-Mobile and Vodafone versions of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the update is now available to anyone with an original- and provider independent execution of both devices. This is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update now all sold Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones available in the Netherlands.

Phased rollout

In the last month and a half Samsung has been tested by means of a public beta of the Android 6.0 update Marshmallow on various smartphones. The update has been a month since the first rolled out in Poland, followed by South Korea. Two weeks ago, Samsung already started rolling out the update to Vodafone version of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users of the T-Mobile version of both devices were last week’s turn. Starting this week may also users of the unbranded versions’ of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge download and install the update.
