Put Android 5.1 on your Raspberry Pi 3 – Macworld

RaspAnd – Build 3 has previously worked on the Raspberry Pi 2 but could not run yet on the third iteration of the little computer. After replacing the kernel and making some minor adjustments to the boot parameters managed the developer to start the system in the Raspberry Pi 3

.

Exton is gone one step further and in this latest build (160 315) is also able to add the Google Play Store and Google Play services. At this moment there is not much to be found in the app store Google, but there may still some things to be installed with the included app Aptoide

Exton already has quite some experience with porting Android. In the past worked developer on several Android-x86 project and next RaspAnd the developer has other Linux distributions ported to Raspberry Pi including RaspEX (based on Ubuntu) and RaspArch (Based on ArchLinux).

RaspAnd costs $ 9 and can be downloaded here.
