Microsoft has its Office apps for Android, consisting of Word, PowerPoint and Excel, includes a substantial update. All apps have new features.

The most important addition is autosave. A feature that we know from the desktop version of Office, but which was not yet available on Android. The feature saves the changes you make automatically, unless you use need to tap a button. The autosave feature can be switched off if you prefer to manually save your documents.

In addition, Word, PowerPoint and Excel also store the version history. This allows you to easily switch back to a previous version of a file. This can be useful for example when you want to retrieve pieces of text.

Also new is that you now can work simultaneously on the same file with several people. This works the same way as Google Docs, although changes are not real displayed. Finally, the so-called Designer feature added to PowerPoint. This feature you use to provide your presentation with a beautiful layout. You can add your own pictures from the gallery, but also choose different themes or layouts.
