It was on its way: Lollipop Kit Kat has taken over as the most installed version of Android. Marshmallow now stands at 2.3 percent of all units.
Android Lollipop is now for the first time installed on more devices than Android 4.4 (KitKat). This is evidenced by the latest Google released Android distribution figures. A month ago Lollipop still stood at 34.1 per cent of the units, while now installed on 36.1 percent of the state apparatus. KitKat is now dropped from 35.5 percent to 34.3 percent of the devices.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow now also increases good by. Although the last month nowhere in terms of numbers can match the older versions of the operating system, Marshmallow is still increased a whole percent. A month ago Marshmallow was clear yet just 1.2 percent of the machines installed, but already at 2.3 percent. Nearly doubling so.
