We have 4 new Android apps for you this week have appeared in the Play Store. Fun, useful, useless or interesting, maybe you will soon have a few new apps found for your phone or tablet again.
Throw Something Together
Smartphones and tablets are ideal for use as a digital cookbook because you (almost) always have on hand. Throw Something Together is an app that actually adds something like cookbook: you give the (English) app which ingredients you have at home and the app searches for recipes that use these ingredients. The app has been given a nice Material Design design, but this design is not fully implemented everywhere. Presumably that is fixed in an upcoming update. The app is free and supported by ads. The paid version costs € 1.75 and is ad-free
CallLog
For many people who call business it is important to keep up with who, when and where is called. The app CallLog derived from Dutch soil, makes it possible to do this automatically. The data, including even information on how long the phone rang before the call was answered, stored in a Google Spreadsheet. This information can always be found automatically in the cloud. There is also support for Salesforce and SugarCRM so that the stored data automatically in the CRM systems can be saved
MakerBot
The MakerBot is a popular 3D printer. Last week we saw a collaboration between Autodesk and MakerBot MakerBot and this week issued its official Android app. The app can MakerBot 3D designs from Thingiverse app be printed immediately. Further, it is possible to operate the MakerBot and can be photographs taken by the 3D printer to be viewed during printing. The free application works with the MakerBot Replicator MakerBot Replicator Mini and the MakerBot Replicator Z18.
Simply Scan
There are different scanning apps for Android in the circulation. Because your smartphone almost always have with you, this is often an ideal replacement for an old-fashioned scanner. The creator of Simply scan found the existing smartphone scanner apps too complicated and too expensive. Simply scan also has a nice, uncluttered design and the pro version costs only € 0.88. This app offers a lot of possibilities, such as automatic improvement, filters and support for upload to cloud services.
