The update to Android 5.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop was quite a while on the move. After initially include being tried out in Poland, the update ended last week in the Netherlands, but only for Vodafone and T-Mobile devices. Now the update available for devices not purchased directly from a provider, called unbranded devices.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is the latest flagship of the Samsung Galaxy S series. Samsung is already busy with the features of the phone from Android 5.0 (Lollipop). Earlier, Dutch units of Vodafone and T-Mobile already turn. The update is now available for Dutch and Belgian units containing no provider-specific software.
With the update to Android 5.0 (Lollipop) Google brings many improvements to the operating system. The update for the Samsung Galaxy S5 brings some cosmetic changes, but under the hood has changed a lot. This would have to ensure that the system (yet) run faster and more smoothly.
The update to Android 5.0 for the unbranded version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 now rolling out in the Netherlands and Belgium. That means that this update is designed for appliances that are purchased directly from a provider. Last week, the updates for Vodafone and T-mobile phones have already begun.
You can also check if the update is available for you by going to Settings – & gt; About phone – & gt; Go System updates. If the update is not yet available to you, you would have the PC and Mac app from Samsung, Samsung Kies can try.
informants, thanks!
